Self-released on March 16, 2011, the original tracklist of sailing soul(s) features guest appearances from the likes of Miguel and Gucci Mane on “hoe,” Drake on “july,” Kanye West on “sailing NOT selling” and Kendrick Lamar on “growing apart too.” The 13-track project marked Aiko’s arrival in LA’s burgeoning music scene, giving her national recognition and leading her to a major label signing.
